Search markets for your term

What does it do?

This command lets you search through markets for any query word you would like, it will then show you the top 5 most relevant results and let you click into any of those markets. Once you select a market it will show you the following information:

  • 24 hour Volume, 1 week Volume, 1 month Volume, 1 year Volume

  • When the prediction market closes

  • The liquidity in the market

  • All the different choices for the market and the Yes/No prices for each one

  • A button that upon clicking will show you the rules for the market

  • A button that upon clicking will show you the recent comments on the market

  • A drop down to open up a specific option within the market

When you select a specific option from within the market (assuming multi option market) it will you the following details

  • If the market is active or not

  • The price of Yes and No

  • The liquidity of the market

  • The options spread

  • 24 hour Volume, 1 week Volume, 1 month Volume, 1 year Volume

  • 24 hour price change, 1 week price change, 1 month price change, 1 year price change

  • Buy Yes / Buy No

  • A back to market button

The back to market button will take you back to the previous page before this one, the Buy Yes/Buy No buttons let you buy the respective positions which will let you set your minimum price and the number of shares that you want to buy. These are fill and kill orders, this means that it will buy as many shares (at least the number you set) that are below your max price. Upon buying you will be sent your transaction link, the number of shares you received and the total amount of usdc you spent.

Example:

You want to buy 10 shares at 0.50c per share and the current market price is 40c then you will get 5$ worth of the 40c sale, which is equal to 500/40 = 12.5 shares. All this to say that you will get at least 10 shares for at most 5$ total, but if you can get more for your money then you will. In coming updates we will allow multiple different order types.
